Green Services
Nakhshab Development & Design (NDD) is dedicated to implementing sustainable building and design practices
into our work whenever possible. We continue to lead the industry when it comes to green building systems and
have successfully completed numerous LEED certified projects. Our sister company, Greenwise Solutions, makes
sure we are thoroughly educated on the most up-to-date systems, products and building practices.
LEED Project Management
This service takes our construction management service one step further for those clients who are interested in
building a "green" project and possibly obtaining a LEED certification. NDD provides all of the necessary
documentation and submittals to the LEED organization and can also take care of submissions for various
government-sponsored rebates.
Energy Efficiency & Renewable Energy
NDD provides recommendations on the best systems to use in order to build the most energy efficient project
possible, saving the client money and protecting our precious resources. Often, this means incorporating
renewable energy systems into a project including the use of solar power, wind power, geothermal power and
rain-water harvesting.
Energy Audits
This service includes a review of the current energy consumption of a building and recommendations/options for
improving a building's performance. This service includes inspection, written or verbal assessment, and
recommendations for client.
Green Material Selection
NDD's designers are well versed in the most up-to-date green products on the market. NDD knows which green
products are best suited for each kind of application and can develop a design concept that integrates sustainable
materials without sacrificing the aesthetic of a project.
Solar Installation
One of our most popular "green" services, we can specify and install the most efficient solar system based on the
particular project. Solar power can be used to generate electricity and heat water, which greatly increases the
efficiency of a project and substantially reduces energy costs.
