This historic building in the heart of the Gaslamp district involved a partial seismic retrofit and ADA upgrade for the existing commercial building.
• The interior of the existing building was completely gutted to make room for all new interior layouts
• Moment frames were designed to achieve the desired interior floor plans
• Seismic retrofit work included anchoring the existing un-reinforced masonry building to the roof diaphragm and retrofitting the existing parapet
• Complete design/build was performed by NDD on this 10,000 sq.ft. building
