Structural Engineering Design
Built in 1978, the Bay View Villas, located
at 3745 Mission Boulevard, were no longer efficient
for their users and the owners wanted to remodel
the building. The project consisted of a remodel
to the existing 10,000 sq. ft. mixed use structure
that includes retail on the street level and four
residential spaces above. The engineer’s at
NDD provided structural upgrade recommendations as
needed and also provided new framing design and calculations
in the areas where the existing framing was no longer
usable or non-existent. |
