NDD was responsible for the structural engineering seismic retrofit for various SAIC buildings.  Our scope of work was primarily tenant improvement such as mechanical anchorage calculations, concrete tilt-up penetrations, new mezzanine additions, etc.

Structural Engineering Seismic Retrofit
NDD was responsible for the structural engineering seismic retrofit for various General Atomics building facilities.  We were responsible for doing structural analysis on existing buildings for the addition of mechanical equipment.

Santee Medical Center
Structural Engineering Calculations
The Santee Medical Center wanted their existing glass curtain wall on their east elevation to be restrained. NDD provided structural calculations and a recommended design and drawings for restraining the curtain wall.

N.C.R.S. Basile Guardrail
Structural Engineering Calculations
NDD provided the design and calculations for the construction of a guardrail that Basile Studios was to build for the new N.C.R.S. High School. Overseen by the Director of State Architects Board the guardrail addition was designed to be placed at the second story exterior walkway and stairs.
