Structural Engineering Design
Two new custom homes located on the slopes of La Jolla’s Mount Soledad. NDD did the structural design of these spectacular homes. Having very unstable soil conditions in La Jolla, NDD had to design 50 caissons for each home that go to a depth of 50 feet into the ground. Other unique features include floating swimming pools that are supported by two columns instead up being built into the ground.
