NDD was responsible for the design, structural engineering and construction of this 5,500 sqaure foot home in La Jolla. This Tuscan style home has beautiful views of the ocean and surrounding park like terrain. Originally, there was a 2,000 square foot existing single family home on this site. After demolishing the existing building NDD needed to do perform heavy grading due to the unfavorable soil types in La Jolla. NDD excavated nearly 20 feet of soil and recompacted new decomposed granite to create a more solid base for the new home. NDD was also responsible for the detailed landscape/site work, which included a new infinity edge pool, jacuzzi, fire pit, bar/bbq, water fall, fountain, etc. The construction for this home took 12 months to complete.
